Headquarters Move FAQs

Why is ILWU Credit Union moving headquarters out of Wilmington?

We have outgrown our Wilmington Office. As our member and employee population continues to grow, we needed to find a larger, convenient location to accommodate our needs for the next 10 to 15 years and beyond. Our new building will have more space to accomodate the following:

  • Our growing staff
  • A larger Call Center
  • Community space for financial workshops, meetings, team building, staff training, and more!
  • Plenty of free parking
  • A new ATM and Branch (Coming July 2019)

What will happen to the Wilmington Branch?

Our Wilmington Branch will remain open as a full-service branch to serve you.

What is the address of the new Headquarters?

3447 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90807

Will the mailing address change?

Yes. All loan payments, deposits or other correspondence should be mailed to the new mailing address:

ILWU Credit Union
PO BOX 7629
Long Beach, CA 90807

How does this address change effect my ACH payments or Bill Pay?

To avoid late payments or transaction delays, please note our new mailing address. If you make your payments using an external Bill Payment Service, please update the payee information with our new address. Our new mailing address is:

ILWU Credit Union
PO BOX 7629
Long Beach, CA 90807

Will there be a branch at the Long Beach Headquarters?

Yes, there will be a full-service branch and ATM at the Long Beach location. It should open sometime this summer.

Will there be any disruptions in service during or after the move?

The transition to the new Headquarters should be seamless. There will be no disruption in service and no effect on your accounts. Our phone number, website and online banking site will remain the same, and so will the service you rely on.

Will this effect any of the other branches?

No. Our Wilmington, San Pedro, and Oakland locations will remain full-service branches to serve you.
